Among the updates we’ve made so far in 2026 are new tools that help funeral homes better understand their online performance, create more personalized obituaries, and manage everyday work in one place.

While there have been many releases this year, here are a few highlights you may have missed.

A Clearer View of Your Online Performance

A notable addition this year is the Tukios Metrics Dashboard.

Funeral homes can now see a real-time view of online activity in one place, including obituary engagement, guestbook activity, and other key performance data. Rather than relying on separate reports or limited snapshots, the dashboard makes it easier to understand how your community is engaging with your funeral home online.

Corporations now have access to those same reporting tools through the newly renamed Dashboard for Corporations. Both funeral homes and corporations can also select a broader timeframe, making it possible to review performance beyond the previous 30-day view.

These updates provide a clearer picture of the digital tools and experiences that are connecting most with the families and communities you serve.

More Flexibility for Obituaries

Several 2026 releases have made it easier to create obituaries and tributes that are both personal and polished.

With Live Obituary Template Previews, users can instantly see how an obituary will look with their actual text and photos while editing. There is no need to save, refresh, and check each template separately.

The obituary editor now also supports embedded photos within obituary text, with options for captions, borders, alignment, hyperlinks, and image sizing. Families can include meaningful photos alongside the stories and milestones they share.

We also introduced Obituary Stories, a dedicated section for poems, timelines, life milestones, and other details that may not fit within the main obituary. This feature is available in the Memory Book and on the Horizon template.

The new AI Eulogy Creator provides funeral directors with a faster starting point for writing meaningful, personalized tributes. By entering basic background information and selecting an appropriate tone, users can generate a structured eulogy draft that can be reviewed, edited, and downloaded. The tool saves valuable time while giving funeral professionals full control over the final tribute.

Streamlined Day-to-Day Work

Small workflow improvements can make a major difference during a busy day.

A recent dashboard update now pins unpublished obituary drafts to the top of the dashboard, helping teams quickly see which obituaries still need attention before they are published.

New Direct Upload and Capture Options are now available in 25 areas throughout the platform. Users can upload files from more sources or capture content directly within Tukios, reducing the need to download, save, and re-upload files between different tools.

Funeral directors can also access the Tukios video platform through a new Videos link in the sidebar navigation menu. Single Sign-On securely authenticates users and takes them directly into the video platform without requiring another password or open browser tab.

The new Invoices feature gives funeral homes a way to create invoices, send payment links, and collect payments directly through the platform.

Bring Google Reviews Directly to Your Website

Sharing the meaningful words of the families you serve is now easier with the new Google Business Listings Integration.

Funeral homes can pull authentic Google reviews directly onto their websites without manually tracking and adding new feedback. The integration automatically retrieves new reviews from the funeral home’s Google Business Profile as they are posted.

Built-in customization controls also give funeral homes more control over what appears on their website. Users can establish a minimum star-rating requirement or use a visibility toggle to show or hide individual reviews from the dashboard.

New Integrations for Continued Care and Personalization

Tukios has also expanded its integrations to help funeral homes support families and reduce duplicate work.

Through our integration with Estate Closing by Aftercare, families can receive guided support for estate-related paperwork and next steps after a loss.

Our integration with Messenger’s Make It Personal platform helps connect case information with commemorative stationery production, making it easier to create accurate and personalized printed materials.

Smarter Arrangement Conferences with Heardstone

Heardstone is a new tool built specifically for funeral professionals and is currently available in beta.

During an arrangement conference, Heardstone can capture and organize the conversation so funeral directors can focus more fully on listening to and supporting the family. After the meeting, it prepares a detailed summary, suggested tasks, and an obituary draft for review.

Users can also add information that was not discussed during the meeting by uploading audio recordings, photographs, and documents. Heardstone organizes that information within the service file and connects it with the Tukios Dashboard, reducing manual note-taking and duplicate data entry.

The Heardstone beta is currently available through the Heardstone app on iOS and Android.
